On 7/26/23, licensee failed to maintain a lead 1 On 10/16/23, LPA Maciel was sent proof of remediation for followup testing performed on 9/27/23 which revealed the faucet tested within the allowable lead level. value at or below the Action Level for water lead testing resulting with values of 5.5 ppb or greater for faucet "N". Water testing results identified with Action Level Exceedance as defined in WD section 101700.3. are not deemed safe to drink. This is a potential health and safety risk to children in care.
Based on record review, facility faucet (Site “C”) exceeded the allowable levels of lead in the water, testing at 9.6 ppb. This is a potential health and safety risk to children in care. S1 stated that the test results of the re-test will be sent to LPA, once received. S1 will notify all parents or guardians about what has been done, to remediate the outlet and how drinking water is provided to children.
