101239 Fixtures, Furniture, Equipment and Supplies (m) All play equipment and materials used by children shall be age-appropriate. This requirement was not met as evidence by; Early Learning Specialist stated facility staff will block off the children's playground playstructure with orange cones, caution yellow tape, and position staff to ensure children will not use play structure. Based on LPA’s observation, the Play structure label states the equipment has been designed for children ages 5-12 years old. C1 is 3.7 years old and the equipment is not age appropriate for C1. This poses a potential risk to the heath and safety of the children in care.
Based on interviews conducted S1 was not visually supervising C1 for about 1-2 minutes during dismissal. S1 did not have accountability of C1 during dismissal. This poses potential Health and Safety risk to children in care.
