LPA observation that children were not wearing face coverings 1 Licensee shall create a letter to all representatives indicating what the expectations are in order to follow CDPH guidelines. The letter shall include what the staff will do throughout the day to assist in encouraging children to wear their masks. This letter shall be signed by the child’s authorized during inside activities per CDPH and OSHA guidelines for COVID-19 in Childcare facilities. Director stated they will continue to leave it up to children’s authorized representative’s to decide whether or not their child should wear a face covering while in care. This poses an immediate risk to the Health, Safety, and Personal Rights of children in care. It should be noted that Staff were wearing face coverings. 8 representative and kept in the child’s file. A copy of the letter will be provided to Community Care Licensing by 10/18/21.
