(1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time...Supervision shall include visual observation. 1 Director agrees to discuss regulation 101229(a)(1) and the importance of always providing adequate care and supervision of children in care with all staff. The Director agrees to obtain signatures of all staff acknowledging discussion, Based on interviews and records reviewed, facility staff failed to provide proper care and supervision for a child that remained in the hallway for an undetermined duration while transitioning from one classroom to another classroom. This poses an immediate health, safety and personal rights risk to children in care. 8 submit a copy of staff acknowledgment and develop a detailed plan on how supervision will be maintained during transition periods to prevent further incidents to LPA via email by COB 01/17/2024.
