The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in 1 Facility Representative will submit plan of correction to LPA by POC date of 02/15/2024. Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement is not met as evidenced: Facility self reported an incident of Child #1 being left unattended on the playground for approximately 6 minutes. This is an immediate heath and safety risk to children in care. 8
Staff received training regarding supervision and transitions of children. Facility has reported the incident to the child's parent and reported this incident to CCL. This deficiency is cleared. Facility self reported that on May 10, 2023, during transition from outside to inside Child #1 was left unattended on the playground for approximately 15 minutes. This is an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.
