While walking into the toddler classroom to introduce myself to the teachers, I observed a caregiver redirecting a child by pulling the child by one arm and lifting the child into the air. The child's feet was not touching the ground until the teacher let go of the child arm and placed the child in another area in the classroom.
The annual fire inspection has expired and the fire marshal has not come out yet to conduct the fire inspection
During transportation, the bus driver nor the school age teacher accounted for the children as they exited the van This was corrected during the inspection when I observed the second transportation drop-off and the children were accounted for.
School-age children were watching TV while having there late PM snack This was corrected during the inspection when the TV was turned off.
The carbon monoxide testing has no been documented for this year. This was corrected during the inspection when the director tested the system and documented the information
There was a broken sink observed in the children's bathroom. At inspection The director placed a temporary cover making it inaccessible to children.
The border surrounding the mulch on the playground has a split and is wide enough for fingers to get caught in. There is a teeter-totter with a broken seat and jagged edge. The teeter-totter was corrected at inspection when the director removed the teeter-totter from the play area.
