101238 Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. 1 Licensee stated the fence was repaired at the end of March. On May 20, 2024, LPA observed the fence is repaired to meet Title 22 Regualtions and the carpets appeared clean. Based on observations and interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the fence was in disrepair/fell down and the carpets did not appear clean, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8

space heaters reading guage stating room temperature to be 56 degrees at 8:30 am. There were 2 space heaters being used. At 1:30 pm the room temperature reached 66 degrees which can be a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.

Mrs. Valyncia states that a staff meeting was held regarding the incident, training will be provided and walkie talkie were purchased in order to quickly ask for help.
