Comply with CPSL/CPSL information 55 Pa. Code §3270.32(a)/3270.192(4)
A renewal inspection occurred at the facility. A review of staff files was conducted. See the code sheet for the date of hire. Staff #1 did not update their state police clearances at least every 60 months as required by the CPSL. Staff #1 worked in child care during the state police clearance lapse. (previous 3/1/21, current 9/1/26) The file of Staff #4 indicated this staff has lived out of state within the last 5 years. The CPSL requires any staff that have lived out of state within this timeframe to receive the clearances from that state. Staff #4 has worked in a child care role since the date of hire and the file was missing Florida clearances.
Center’s plan of correction (implemented, Sep 23, 2026): “Will ensure in the future that staff a rehired and update their clearances as required by the CPSL. All clearances will remain on file at all times.”

“Core safety” marks citations about supervision and staff ratios, discipline and caregiver conduct, background checks, child protection and safe sleep, the topics our score weights most. Pennsylvania’s records don’t grade violations by severity. “Follow-up” marks a violation re-cited at a follow-up visit, counted once. How scores work.
