Based on interview the director did not comply with the section cited above. 4 out of 4 staff interviewed advised LPAs on 3/20/2023 at approximately 11 a.m. there were 2 staff present with 8 infants and 1 of the infants was asleep, staff reported that they were advised from management to pull crib out in between the nap area and activity area, blocking the nap area doorway to maintain ratio. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

101700.3 California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers (b) Testing results with fractional ppb readings of 5.0 ppb or greater shall be rounded up to the nearest whole number, before comparing to the Action Level. (1) A result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. 1 Facility staff followed Written Directives in PIN 21-21 CCP for lead water testing. Licensing Forms completed; 9275, 9276 and facility sketch submitted.Outlet A was made inacessible with a sign stating, "DO NOT USE". Notification sent out to parents via app "Sprout About", Based on lab report analysis water from outlet A bathroom sink located in "Toddler B" tested on 9/27/22 had a level of 161.0 ppb (parts per billion). This faucet sample indicates levels of lead in exceedance. Outlet was replaced (not in use) and resampled on 9/27/22, but still did not PASS. Addtional water filter will be installed and resampled, reflushing and conditioning for 3 weeks. An additional water filter will be added to the outlet.
