101700.3 (b) (1) California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers...A result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. This requirement was not met as evidence by: 1 Director Aunica DeFalco placed the water outlet out of service and replaced the faucet on 1/3/2023. The facility is providing bottled drinking water to children in care. Correction will be deemed complete once retest results are below 5.5ppb. Water testing results taken on 12/3/2022 with an Action Level Exceedance of 13 which is higher than the allowable limit. The faucet is located in classroom 4, labeled M. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to the children in care. 8

Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision - (a)The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision Director, Aunica Defalco will hold a staff meeting which will include supervision. Ms. DeFalco agrees to submit a copy of the signed intinerary to Community Care Licensing by 09/30/22. shall include visual observation. Child #1 was bitten twice by Child #2 as staff was preoccupied with other duties and did not observe the first bite until Child #1 started screaming/crying.
