Based on LPAs records review and interviews, the facility is commingling infants with pre-school aged children from opening until 8:30am until additional staff arrive, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8 both the infant and preschool programs. Corrections will be submitted to Licesing on or before the stated POC date of 10/28/2022.

Infant Care Activity - If an infant falls asleep before being placed in a crib, staff shall move the infant to a crib as soon as possible. Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. 1 A staff member took the infant out of the stroller, after the LPA informed staff that the an infant sleeping in a stroller was a violation of Title 22 regulations. Licensee agrees to provide training to staff regarding Safe Sleep for infants in care and provided a written plan. LPA observed an infant sleeping inside of a stroller with a bed sheet over the stroller and infant child. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8 Licensee agrees to submit a copy of the agenda and sign in/out sheet as proof of training and staff present. To be submitted to the Riverside Child Care Regional office by 9/7/2022.
